Mike Saturday and local author Mel Menker have slated a public book signing for Rev. Menker's book, "M.E.S.H.: How to Have Mental, Emotional, Spiritual Health for Life" for Saturday, June 17, at the Emmaus Road Christian Store. Menker will be available to autograph books from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the bookstore, which is located at the intersection of Garrett Highway (U.S. Route 219) and Sand Flat Road. Light refreshments will be served at the event.
Menker's book was accepted for publishing by PublishAmerica and is set for offical release on July 3. However, the book will be available locally for the book signing at Emmaus Road before its official release date. Books are also currently available directly from the PublishAmerica web site through their online bookstore.
Co-authored by Menker and friend John Carroll, Ohio, the book's back cover description states, in part: "Everyone experiences mental, emotional, and/or spiritual traumas in life... When these crises occur, our response to the situation will play an integral and possibly a pivotal role in how we will life from those defining moments forward... This book provides positive and simple answers to gain and maintain M.E.S.H. - mental, emotional, and spiritual health for life."
