On behalf of C. A. Webb and Shadow Play Entertainment, I want to thank everyone for the love and support they have shown this month to our events as well as the overwelming respect for our accomplishments this year.
Over the weekend, we had a great time at the MS Arts Center with Kamikaze, Lil' Bone, Scott Albert Johnson (featuring Brian Coleman), Jack-Town Ballers, Martha Simpson and Next of Kindredz--- as well as poets Donovan Scott and Kira. On Saturday at Smith Robertson Museum we were entertained again by various poets and performers including Duane Scott and Sho.
But all good things have to come to an end, don't they? We are having to cancel the Webb Wednesday for this month, so the EMANCIPATION show on Saturday was fittingly our last show of the year.
As for 2005, there are some major things coming for C. A. Webb, Inc., most importantly being the name change in September 2005 to C. A. Webb Omnimedia. This will help usher in the new "CONVERSATIONS" magazine published by Shadow Play Publications, bringing my organziation full-circle with the radio show, television show, news column in The Mississippi Link and on onelifeinc.org, and our own magazine.
Please stay tuned to the newsletter as well as new poetry that is being posted on the site from my upcoming poetry chapbook THE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH, that will be released in February 2005.
Stay in touch with us and please know that none of these milestones would be possible without your help.
