Since fall of 2007, Dawn L. Mullan, an Authorsden writer, has been seriously ill with related complications of MCS, or Multiple Chemical Sensitivities after repeated pesticide exposures at work. Unfortunately, the ADA Accomodation given to protect her from said recurrent exposures was ignored.
This means she is not only allergic to a wide range of common chemcials, but also medications, including her life-saving inhalers. Dawn is a lifelong asthmatic. Without her inhalers, inflammation continues to hinder her breathing and restricts her activities. The exposures have left the artist with more then a hyperactive immune system, but with reactive airways as well.
Her spirit will not be quelled, the Artist keeps her creative spirit alive. Family and friends continue to help out. Thanks to their support, art and writing will begin to flow in publications once again.
Please join Dawn in her effort to create a better world without the use of harmful chemicals as well as get MCS patients the recognition and adequate medical care they deserve.
Thank you.
