Texas author Diana Estill's latest book, Deedee Divine's Totally Skewed Guide to Life (Corncob Press), serves up satirical advice for women who want to lose weight, find success or just keep their sense of humor during tough times. "It's all about locating the fun in life's frustrations," says Estill, age 55.

Deedee Divine's Totally Skewed Guide to Life has been announced a finalist in the "Humor" category of the National Best Books 2009 Awards, sponsored by USA Book News. This is Estill"s second book award. Earlier in 2009, the author was named a finalist in the ForeWord Magazine Book of the Year Awards.
