The weekend of April 11 - 13, 2008 was a very busy one for New England author Ellen Feld and her jet-black Morgan gelding Blackjack.  They traveled to Columbus, OH to attend Equine Affaire, the largest annual equine exposition in the country.  Blackjack was invited as a special celebrity horse and spent his time in the youth pavilion meeting young fans.  Ms. Feld had a booth right next to her horse's stall where she signed books from her award-winning Morgan Horse series.  Once a day, author and horse appeared in the presentation ring where Ms. Feld talked about her experiences with Blackjack, how he became the star of the series and then went on to become the inspiration  for a Breyer Model Horse.  Along with Blackjack, two other well-known horses made appearances, Nevada Joe and RJ Masterbug, also known as Hildago, the famous movie star horse of the popular movie Hildago.
