Poetry Slam in Sister Showcase

Mikii Hooper aka Gran Gran appeared in the Sister Showcase's Poetry Slam in Memphis, Tennessee on Sunday June 6th. I was the oldest contestant in the Slam trying out a new joint caused me to be penalized as i overran the three minute time frame by two and one half minutes.

My point was to get the message out. Two pieces on file in the den were melded together, "Where have the men gone, and where have the women gone. So idin't win but a standing ovation of 200+ people was all right with me.
