We're giving away thousands of free audiobooks to jumpstart the sales of Paraworld Zero. With our $100,000 marketing budget, we've already secured prime advertising spots in the top fantasy and science fiction magazines, including publications for schools and libraries. Dozens of high-traffic websites, blogs and newsletters will announce the promotion. If you work at a library or at a bookstore, you're bound to see our ads in Publishers Weekly, School Library Journal, VOYA, The Bloomsbury Review, Foreword, Reading Teacher, JAAL, Poets and Writers, etc.
Matthew Peterson has been invited to be interviewed on NBC (channel 12 KPNX in Phoenix). He will also be a guest blogger and featured author on several websites in Dec, Jan, and Feb.
In 2008, a news article centered on Matthew Peterson's book, Paraworld Zero, life and writing will be published by an estimated 75 to 100 newspapers with an expected readership to be in the millions.
Planned Television Arts is scheduling 18 morning radio interviews for Matthew on January 14, 2008. We anticipate an audience between 3 to 10 million listeners. Matthew has many hours of acting and teaching experience.
We're mailing out 20,000 full-color flyers and 35,000 bookmarks to bookstores, schools and libraries. Please post the flyers in January and order your books early!
Matthew will have a private booth (#5741) at the 2008 BookExpo America in Los Angeles. He is also participating in several conventions including WorldCon, Nebulas, CopperCon, TusCon and the World Fantasy Convention.
If you'd like for Matthew to visit (or speak on the phone) to your school, library, club or bookstore, please contact him directly at 888-376-8693, #1. He is very comfortable in front of audiences. Matthew lives in Arizona, but he will be in Salt Lake City, Dec 22 - 29 and San Diego, Feb 4 - 9.
Many subsidiary rights, including foreign, hardback, mass market, movie, audio, and electronic, are still available. Please contact Matthew directly about this. Although he shares these rights with Windstorm Creative, he will end up with a higher percentage of the profits if you go through him.
