Mark and seven other Division level Toastmaster competed May 16, 2009 for the District 84 Toastmaster International Championship title.  Contestants from throughout Central Florida convened at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida for the event.  The 1st place winner Larry Alario from the World Toastmasters in Lake Buena Vista, Flroida will go on to the Regional Championship in Greensboro North Carolina in June.

Mark Johnson was the 2nd place runner up and will also attend as support  and back up to the District winner.  Each one of the contestants were exceptionally good presenters.  Toastmasters International is an international speech club dedicated to improving speaking and leaderhip qualities in men and women who want to take their personal and professional skills to higher level.  Go to www.Toastmasters International to find a club in your local area.
