I started oil painting in September of 2006. I am teaching myself. I completed my twelfth painting, "The Little River Fleet", early last month (12/04/2007). I have been asked to have two giclees made for probable sale. I was very delighted. I contracted with a giclee factory north of the border to have them made. I am now anxiously awaiting their arrival. I know that I have so very much to learn and master with the oil painting. However, even in my early developmental stages I find it at once, immensely frustrating and immensely rewarding. What more could a wannabe artist ask?
