Honored by an invitation from Editor Sara Russell, Green submitted poems she feels represent some of her best – “or any rate, most sincere” – work. Four were selected ti aooear in Poetry Life & Times’ October, 2005 issue.: “Li’l Holly ‘roun’ BEER&WINE “Aliases Tackle Philosophy 101, Midnight to Four:”: “For Sale: 3-Inch Heels, Slightly Damaged” “Ink Drawing, Brown & White”..... ........... The author is especially grateful to the editors editors of Mindfire, The Pedestal Magazine, Kenwood Review, and New England Writers’ Anthology for providing homes for the poems when they were infants. New England Writers’ awarded Ink Drawing special mention, Green reports. The thrill was all the greater when I discovered that only two NC writers had won. . .the other winner being my dear friend and cohort, Sara Claytor. Sara and her husband, R.C. ‘Bob’ Rutherford, publish the online literary magazine, The Moonwort Review. Claytor has won “buckets of | awards, including impending book publication.” To view the poems, a photo, and a mini-bio, click on the link at the bottom of the page. When you get to PT&L, surf down to Richard Vallance. “Featured Poets” is directly below. Thank you for dropping by. :)
