I have begun the second book of the trilogy. This is an excerpt from the first two chapters:

What a difference the past five years had made in the world order. The heritage of the visitor’s, the Legacy of Pnomos as the visitors called it, had drawn the world together as one family. True, there were still factions that distrusted the new world order, but they were dwindling in size and strength. We are truly moving towards a world community Lisa thought. The visitors had given so much. There were new sciences, sciences of space travel and space harvesting – the use of space to harvest a vast wealth of minerals, water, and organics all trapped in asteroids and comets. The world had truly become a smaller place with travel to any place in the world made as easy as taking a bus. There were space ports in all the major cities replacing the antiquated airports of the past. One could get from New York to Hawaii in as little time as 45 minutes by taking a space shuttle from La Guardia Space Port to Honolulu Space Port. This concept in itself transformed the need for countries and borders. We now truly lived in a world without borders. We are on the threshold of a new world order. What man had strived for eons, was now within our grasp all because of the Family of Man and their teachings. Lisa sighed at that thought; a new world order was at hand.
