| The page proofs for Fathers Sons and Brothers, book one have arrived. |
A great day, to be sure. The page proofs, also known as galleys, arrived today via email from my editor at Publish America . It is the first time I have seen the novel in book form, and I must say, it is a bit overwhelming, in a good way of course!
This brings my novel ever closer to publication. I have found many fans itching to get their hands on this book! I must add myself to that growing list!
Soon, I hope to have an excerpt up from Fathers Sons and Brothers, book two, which I am currently working on. It continues the saga of Nathan Clark and The Twentieth Maine Regiment up through the Winter of 1864, and on into the hot, sweltering heat of the summer of '64. The Wilderness, Cold Harbor and the seige of Petersburg.
Your obedient author,
GUS
