The Schnoops and I are in the middle of a Schnoopsy-tour to promote 'The Extremely Very Scrambled Up World of Little Doogs' and I have to say we're having a blast!
So far we've been to Orchard Primary School in Watford, led and drama workshop to celebrate the reopening of Chichester Library, held a reading at Wimbldon library and we're doing the children's story time at Raynes Park library tomorrow. And that's before we hit the schools (not literally, although Schnoss's driving can be a bit erratic!) here in Wimbledon and also in Calderdale in Yorkshire.
We're having such fun and the children have all been so postive. Most of them adore Honey (which has made her rather big-headed I must admit) but there is also rather an attraction to Jezza the Rubbish Artist who is always asleep!
I always panic that no-one will turn up to events, but it hasn't happened yet. And as I never quite know what the children who do turn up are going to be like - shy, extrovert, loud, sad etc. - it has given me confidence to know that I CAN think on my feet!
