The deadline for a 5,000 word contribution for the above is 31st January 2014.

In my cotribution I shall mainly draw upon details from Chapters 23-29 published in my memoir "Gaining a Sense of Self". The editors hope that the collection will act as motivation/inspiration for current and future Care Leavers in  considering  a university  career. By providing examples  from my own experience I intend to provide 'tips' and suggestions for Care Leavers to help them succeed in their studies.

At the moment the editors presume that there is no book like this in Australia (nor in the US or UK either), so the book will be an important landmark work, and hopefully will serve as encouragement and validation to contributors and readers alike.
