It is now 100 days and counting down until the Warning.

I just read an article about how this is the earliest Lent since 1913. That just happens to be the last year of the reign of Pius X, who was the last Pope to be sainted. John Paul II will be next at the time of the Miracle in 2009, thus fufilling the clue of a rare event in the Church taking place at the time of the Miracle. The next Pope after Pius X was Benedict XV, who was the Pope during Fatima. We now have his name sake and the earliest Lent season since.

I was the reader at my church this last Sunday before the start of Lent. I finish with the first Bible line I delevered. If you can't see the Warning (and the Chastisement) in it, I don't know what to tell you.

Zephaniah 2:3
"Seek the Lord, all you humble of the earth,
who have observed his law;
seek justice, seek humility;
perhaps you may be sheltered
on the day of the Lord's anger."
