Sorry for not getting in touch with you before now - - its been another busy year with projects taking off in different directions. Recent projects include a cultural history of Ethiopia, a book on the folklore of faeries, elves and little people, two books on architectural symbolism and the most recent and just released "Portals to Other Realms: Cup - marked Stones & Prehistoric Rock Carvings." The last title has an introduction by Russian Geographical Society member Vyacheslav Mizin, an expert on sacred and megalthic sites in Russia and Iceland. From what I understand this is only the second book on this specific subject written in the last century. If you are into archaeological mysteries I believe you will find this completely illustrated book of interest.
Earlier this year I was featured on Sacramento's CBS station channel 31 for a walking tour of some of the city's architectural symbolism. I was also taped for an as yet scheduled episode of the History Channel ancient aliens show. The show, called Destination Orion, is an examination of the mysterious dolmen of Korea. I am afraid that I take the more scientific viewpoint of these ancient megaliths rather than the alien hypothesis.
I have also travelled to Kentucky and South Carolina to visit many of the historic sites in both states including Civil War battlefields, ancient Native American sites and beautiful cities. I was totally amazed at how kind and friendly the people of both states were. It was a very nice experience. (Not to mention seeing alligators and armadillos up close and wild!)
Thank you again for visiting my authorsden site for for your kind comments and reviwes over the years. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and a joyful new year.
Gary
