Hello,
I'm very busy raising an eight year old grandson who has cerebral palsy and is blind in one eye.
I'm editing several novels and have completed two illustrated poetry books. Currently I'm looking for interested publishers.
Would love to keep in touch with everyone who enjoys my poetry but there is never enough time. If you'd like updates on what's going on, you'll find it here.
Love,
Sandy

Hi,
We're back from our vacation in Utah! Though we had a nice time, there is no place like home :)!
We took Doogie to "Dinosaur Land" where there were over 100 lifesized dinosaur displays. Since Doogie can barely make out shapes, we hesistated about going but the museum said Doogie could have 'hands on' everything; they were super :)! It's important that we continue to do as many things as normally as possible . . . just in case his vision never improves or is 'as improved' as it can be.
We laughed and walked around in a light sprinkle. Boy, you should've seen the guys jump (when I had them posing for a photo in front of a Raptor) when the dinosaur became animated and roared :)! Cool! Both were totally caught off-guard :)!
Al was happy getting two boat motors (to fix-up) and bought me four more dolls for my collection :)!
Doogie was so excited about everything--we also went to Union Station, took in some antique shops, went to Rainbow Gardens & falls, and saw all the kids, grandkids ;) . . . super.
Sherry (my daughter; Doogie's mom) is already enroute here from Ohio (she called this morning from Wyoming). She arrives tomorrow and should be here through August 27th.
I DO have loads of laundry so will close for now. Just wanted to say 'we're back' :)!
Kaleidoscope
The pattern--fluid--seamlessly flows,
every movement slowly passes . . . grows.
Kaleidoscope . . .
werein shapes elope,
turn after turn,
with no aspirations to review;
seeping colors mix in every hue.
Marvelous changes
enchants all ages . . .
round and round.
This old world ... a giant kaleidoscope . . .
filled with wondrous things--love and hope.
Kaleidoscope
colors music and floats
time after time.
How can people mope?
Never the same thing--day in; day out.
‘Ruts’ are our doing . . . without a doubt
Color your life in,
spin after spin,
turn after turn,
round and round,
be wide-eyed innocent again with a
kaleidoscope.
