Hello,
I'm very busy raising an eight year old grandson who has cerebral palsy and is blind in one eye.
I'm editing several novels and have completed two illustrated poetry books. Currently I'm looking for interested publishers.
Would love to keep in touch with everyone who enjoys my poetry but there is never enough time. If you'd like updates on what's going on, you'll find it here.
Love,
Sandy

Hi,
I haven't forgot you all; I just kept finding things for and from Helen ... then turned to work on my books. Sidetracking isn't good for keeping friends ... but then, sometimes, memories are enough for a while.
Four of my books should be coming out in ebook soon from Mystic Publishing Company. They are all illustrated poetry books. I've been doing one a month since December.
Good news for a change: Doogie's calcium (bone) build-up in the right eye hasn't changed much. However, we still will be going to see a specialist every 4-6 weeks. Now, besides a cornea transplant and an artificial lense, the doctor thinks we may need to drain the silicon out of Doogie's right eye (was used to replace the vitrious gel) and replace it as it was never intended for long term placement.
Doogie is on spring break this week so I won't be writing as much. Being best friends with a blind nine year old keeps me young :)!
Just wanted to let you know. Keep in touch and take care.
I love you all,
:)Sandy
