Hi,
I've been ill for the past six months (off and on) but am now feeling MUCH better. A variety of old age problems :)!
Despite that, babysitting Mariah, 2, housekeeping and helping Doogie with his homework (he is going to high school - - 9th grade - - in the fall; turned 14 on April 22nd), I finally finished self - publishing my second illustrated poetry book, "An Artistic Appreciation of Jesus".
Blurb sent me an e - mail of 'new changes': general change in pricing, pagination - - adding an extra 10 pages (making my book 80 pages instead of 70) at no additional cost - - - SO ~I'm NOW adding MORE of my poems/art before selling my book to the public. I've placed a HOLD on it.
I took 10 pages of my work OUT to add 'guests' and now I'm getting them back!
Isn't God wonderful?
Am I being realistic? Yes! I don't expect Him to sell them door - to - door :)! The book will rest on its' own merits; God assists us in ALL ways!
Afterwards, work on "AAA of Jesus, Book II" will begin in earnest. Again, I'm open to 9 - 10 'guests' of religious/inspirational poetry or photographs. Unless you are an artist submitting your OWN art or can provide a signed permission slip from the artist of your work, I must refrain from others' art. Your poems MAY have my artwork (if you choose to have art) and/or your photographs MAY have my artwork overlayed on it.
Again, there is no pay or currency or a book. Sorry. My 'guests' help me spread the Word/love of Christ. Everyone who orders thru me will receive whatever discount "I" can provide plus they will be 'inscribed' or 'autographed' if requested.
