Hello,
I'm very busy raising an eight year old grandson who has cerebral palsy and is blind in one eye.
I'm editing several novels and have completed two illustrated poetry books. Currently I'm looking for interested publishers.
Would love to keep in touch with everyone who enjoys my poetry but there is never enough time. If you'd like updates on what's going on, you'll find it here.
Love,
Sandy

Happy Valentine's Day!
I injured my right shoulder and, hence, have been unable to do much lately. The official diagnosis is Biceps Tendonitis, a growth the size of an orange on my right shoulder makes it very painful at this time. Also, the X - rays showed a tumor (which we believe is benign like all my previous ones) in my upper arm. The pain could also be related to that so if, after two weeks, I still have the swelling and/or pain, my doctor will give me a cortisone shot.
Also, cataracts in both eyes (prognosed in late December) are irritating. We postponed a second visit (to measure the growth of the cataracts) due to the shoulder problem. Feels like sandpaper or a lost contact in my eyes - - worse in the right than the left - - plus the right 'leaks' ... so to speak so it's like Vasoline in that eye.
However, that's LIFE :)! Health has seldom been a problem previously and, for that, I'm more grateful. This note isn't to complain but to explain things.
Your friendship is treasured. I will continue to post as possible but forgive me for my slowness in responding to your letters/posts/reviews.
One of my sisters spent several days in the cardiac unit last week. Please keep her in your prayers. I pray for you and your family ... today, tomorrow and always ... for you are dear to me as well.
God loves you and so do I.
Thanks for your patience.
All of my friends (& family) are Sweethearts :)!
Sandy
