Happy September, now that we are already half way into it!! I just had a reminder that I had NOT sent my newsletter since early August - so I guess SOMEBODY reads it out there in cyber land!

Yes, moi is busy as always with so much more happening soon!!

I must first give out love and shouts to my bud, the handsome, hunka-hunka burning love, RICK MARINO, and congratulate him on a wonderful performance in August! My little Elvis I was there with a silver scarf to give ya, but could not get near the stage it was so packed!! So please keep me and my possee posted as to when and where you will be appearing again soon! Rick will be appearing for a booksigning, however, at Barnes and Nobles, with also my FWA fearless beautiful leader, GLENDA IVEY, on Saturday, September 14th. So go check them out guys!!

Shouts of love also out to my favorite Publicist in the world - MISTY JAMES - just because she is fantabulous and spectacular! She keeps moi's names on the lips of all in the area, and I just wanted to shout out that SHE IS LOVED!!

KID NEWS: Our Country Club Mascot - Lauryn Day just started school at FCCJ and is working full time AND just got her a new decent car! So this Mom is so happy for my little "Bean", "Do-Do", aka "Yvette". She is just so cute! 19, perky, size 3, perky, bubbly, perky, am I jealous? Hell yes!! No she is my sunshine I love her desperately!!

Ok, I'm tired can you tell? Have been working too much lately!! Just finished a 77 hour week at the hospital, but other than that here is what's coming up for moi in the next few weeks!!

Come to ze Creative Writing Class on Tuesday nights at Barnes and Nobles and let's tell each other some good stories! Read your stuff. Let's get the s$%* out and published and make some serious $$$ Christmas is coming and I have a long list!! HA!

Florida Writers Association Meeting at the Mandarin Library. I haven't decided on our topic yet, but will have one. This is our LAST meeting before the big convention in October so get fired up!!

If and when possible, come visit me here at the Den. They have a radio show now weekly and they pick their guests speakers by how many "HITS" they get at their website, so come by and say HELLO on one of my poems or something! Just a quickie - I love it!!

I'm also DESPERATELY in possible need of some help with the "Open Mic Jacksonville" book thatNeighborhood Press and I are getting together for the holidays - so if you are in the Jax area - give me a jingle!! I need some help with contacting people for pics, bios, or just to enter the poetry on discs so that we can get this book out, out, out!!!

Also MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW - To come see me and my 9 other Famous Floridian Author Chicks at the Southern Womens' Show in Jacksonville on October 17 - 20th at the Prime Osborne Center. We get our own little run way show and everything!! Four days of book signings, shopping, mingling, shopping, running my mouth, shopping, can't wait - but more on that latah!!
