I cannot believe that is is almost half way through March and I have not got this newsletter out, but such is my little life anymore. Busy...busy...as I know is yours!

I will make this brief (HA-HA-HA-HA!). I want to shout out some March birthdays first to my little fellow country clubbers and honorees - Happy belated birthday to MISTY JAMES who celebrated her little birthday on March 1st. PATTI BEST and my cute cousin, ROBBY RIEL will also be celebrating their birthdays on March 28th. So smootches and hugs too all birthday kiddies! We are just getting bettah and bettah....

Thursday, March 13th - 07:30 PM - B&N of Mandarin
Please come to ze new and improved Poetry Workshop, now lead by our own fabulous and Billy Collins touched leader - KAY DAY. We are learning how to write couplets, sonnets, etc. Yes, after this course fame is your only recourse please attend.

Saturday, March 15th - 10 - 04:00 PM - Downtown Jax -
Yes dahlinks, come join me and 15 other of my little FWA membahs as we have a major booksigning event at 11 Forsyth Street for ze fundraiser for the Jacksonville Symphony Guild. We will be there pinkies extended, books for sale! It is $20 admission at the door, $12 if you say you are here to see moi and her posse! Let us see your cute faces! Come meet Frank Millis from Exact Bind - He's gotta the hottest new equipment for publishing both hard and soft back books. He was at our 03/08/03 meeting at Mandarin. What a great meeting that was! Come again and see him. Ask that question you forgot to ask or come make a book yourself! He is awesome.

Saturday, March 29th - 01:00 PM - FWA LADIES TEA
Yes dears, it is time for tea, crumpets and to meet and greet with SIX fantabulous FWA women authors at my home
(TARA). This month's featured lady authors are:
KAY DAY, RUTH BARNABY, BRENDA CRAWFORD-CLARK, BETTY ANN CREWS, DREW SMITH AND MOI.
Come spend an afternoon of relaxation, eats, and feel the estrogen rush come over you. Our energy is contagious! (No it's not hot flashes dammit!)

Ok, so now you see why I don't get these newsletters done! April will be - OH MY GOD - can't wait to tell you about it, but will wait for now.

Lin and I are still pounding out that screenplay. We have sent "Fly" off for ze copyright and it is now listed with the Screenplay Writers Guild as an official screenplay! Hot damn! Can you say SAG Award?!!

Oh...perhaps me is a little ahead of myself!!! HA!
