Hot enough for ya yet?

I HATE August in Florida. We are like the people in hell wanting ice water if you get my drift!! We have had a LOT of rain though this summer and at least we are all not smokey smelling like we've just been to a good ole southern BBQ!

Did you catch MOI you locals on WGJR yesterday morning?
You all were probably still asleep or trying to get to work, but I was on Lee Martin's favorite drive time hour for the whole hour talking about "Fly" and playing Trivia Pursuit and giving copies of "Fly" away. It was a great time and he wants to have me back again soon!

I don't have a lot of up and coming outside events coming up. I'm trying to concentrate on getting ze ducks in a row for "Passing Thoughts" and my trip to Puerto Viarda Mexico next month! Can't wait! 10 days in a foreign country! I hope we have fun! The last time we went to Mexico I was a little apprehensive on the toll roads when we stopped to pay the tolls and the machine gun welding guards liked to look in our cars at every stop!
Hello - can you say first you say it then you do it?? Not that we were smuggling anything illegal or anything - they just made me nervous!! And the food??? I don't know if it will agree with Cruella or not. I'm still not sure if I can differentiate between eating dog, cat, porcupine or what yet! Maybe I will just stick to beans and rice!! But when it comes to flan - bring it on baby!! Shopping - let's do it!! That I will look forward to with my favorite parents-in-law in ze whole world Marge and Joe Suarez and of course Scruffy in tow.

Bookwise - As soon as we can get the scanner functional I will be sending you a sneak peek, premiere look at ze cover of "Passing Thoughts" if you are interested. So let me know....

Other than that it is just working, writing, teaching, writing, working, writing, playing with the dogs, working and writing!

Let me hear from you when you can!! Have you seen B&N and Amazon.com lately? "Fly" is still moving up on the book rating sales! Still doing good one year later! Maybe it will just be a sleeper and come back and hit everyone by storm! Keep the prayers coming though they are working my pets!!
