Consider yourself invited...
...to become an active participant in the world of Dorien Grey. Like the perverbial tree falling unnoticed in the forest, a book requires not only someone to write it, but someone to read the words and care about them.
Come join Dorien's family of readers.
Newsletter Dated: 4/15/2004 7:46:19 AMSubject: Evolution Change is the only certainty in life, and there have been several going on around here. I've started a blog here on Authorsden and, to be really honest with you, I am not sure what the difference is/should be between the two.
Since Dorien's Web Page (www.doriengrey.net) is always there, and being updated regularly, just repeating the news about the soon-to-be eight (as of May) books in the Dick Hardesty Mystery series and the June release of my gay western romance, Calico, is really sort of redundant if you visit the web page regularly (which I hope you do).
Oh, the one thing I should mention is that coffee mugs featuring the covers of each of the books are now available on the web page (or you might check them out here by going to cafestores.com/CafeDorien. They're pretty pricy, but the people who do all the work producing, billing, and mailing get $10.99 off the top. And they are something not everybody else has.
So we come to the blog, and a request for your suggestions. Just what do you think should/would you like to see go here on the newsletter, and what in the blog?
Every individual's personal evolution is a work in progress, and you are more than welcome to come along on mine.
And so we end this entry with a haiku tip:
Writing, like apples, can often benefit from a good polishing.
Later,
Dorien
