You can be quoted in a Journal!!

Red Engine Press will be publishing The Complete Writer's Journal. It will be 6 X 9" trade paperback, roughly 100 pages priced at $15.95. The journal will be appropriate for taking notes, journaling and/or sketching as the user sees fit. Each page will have a two to three line tip on writing and/or book promotion selected from the top 100 tips sent into chris@redenginepress.com by January 15, 2006. Authors may enter more than once. There is no entry fee.

Each chosen participant will be allowed two lines beneath their tip to promote their work. We offer no royalties, however each contributing author can purchase as many journals as they need at 50% off list price to resell or use as promotion or gifts. This is a great cross-promotion opportunity for the participating authors. There will be no obligation to purchase journals, of course.

The journal will be available at both online and brick & mortar bookstores in the Spring of 2006 in plenty of time for the UCLA Festival of Books (for those of you who are participating!) or other book fairs slated for this spring. This journal will be an on-going feature in the Red Engine Press catalog (sent to bookstores and others in the publishing industry) for the foreseeable future.

Imagine having ninety-nine other authors promoting you and your work when they sell the journal as a companion piece with their own books!

This journal will be edited by Pat Avery, Joyce Faulkner, and Carolyn Howard-Johnson.
