Welcome to any and all readers interested in the novels by Penni Weston. I hope to keep you updated on the progress of my first novel, Accidental Outlaw, and any others to follow. If you have already read the book, I would enjoy any comments you might have. Thank you.
As of March, my book is listed in many places I've discovered. I am even listed in the UK and Canada through Amazon.com I still haven't had my book signing yet. I've hit a few snags where that's concerned. One snag is time. I am caregiver to my mother and I have to devote time to that. But she is having a wonderful time reading my book, as proud as a peacock about it. I would like very much to hear from anyone who has read Accidental Outlaw and let me know what you think. Thanks so much for your time. I appreciate it. Newsletter Dated: 5/7/2005 1:45:34 PMSubject: I Know It Has Been A Long, Long Time In between newsletters. It's just that I have been working very hard at finishing my Victorian Romance novel, Marble Halls. It's in the can, folks. I sent a 6 page synopsis, and the first 3 chapters to Harlequin recently. I am still waiting to find out if it will be accepted. If not, I might try a place called Dorchester Publishing. In the meantime, I have re-edited another book called Glory Hallelujah. That is a woman, not a religious subject. She is a mail-order bride who ventures to a silver boomtown circa 1892. I had a lot of fun with that book. It is kinda small, compared to Marble Halls that is 399 pages and 18 chapters long. I am toying with the idea of digging out my manuscript for a science fiction book. I had originally titled it CONTACT, but then Carl Sagan came out with a book of the same name and I was bummed out about that. I do realize that a title can't be copyrighted and I could go ahead and use that, but instead, I think I shall name it WHAT WAITS BEYOND. It is a story about space shuttles disappearing, a space station on the moon, and Martians. With all the interest in Star Wars these days, that might just be the next hurdle for me to tackle. So, my newsletter readers, that's it for me for right now. If anyone has any questions about any of my books, please email me at awriter4theman@yahoo.com and I will gladly answer them. If you have read either ACCIDENTAL OUTLAW or JUST A LITTLE LOVE, please feel free to go to Publish America and give your review. Thanks for reading me.
