Just wanted to let you know about an error made by yours truly in the January issue of Glimpses of the Paranormal newsletter and also give you a few tidbits of info on other paranormal subjects.

First to the error:

Recently, I responed on the Sightings Yahoo group about an article on Lucas Fortune's new book about how UFO technology and propulsion systems have been built by humans over the past 100 years. Lucas claims that these are the exact same UFOs many people have been seeing all over the world. He explains that he accidently came across actual patents for UFOs. He also provides indept information on how you can build one yourself. http://ufohowto.com/

Hope you enjoyed our interview. Excellent question for a follow - up, so I sent your email to Luke and he asked I pass this along to you and the list.

Here's his reply:

The paradigm of the US economy is on a pay - per - use methodology. Gasoline, electricity, cellphones... are industries all based on charging per unit of use, whether that unit is the gallon, kilowatt, or minute. The UFO technology became the biggest threat to that political - economic structure when it became practiceable for the average person to understand, build, and use that UFO technology.
That is why the government would not want the public to know, to protect the profit margins of the industries that would suffer the biggest losses.
The federal government is Constitutionally MANDATED to provide for 'the general Welfare of the United States.' What the Constitution does NOT do is lay down guidelines for judgment as to what that phrase actually means; the governement is allowed to use their discretion in interpreting that phrase. On the idea that the
economy is run based on "what the market will bear," they have been able to ignore this technology based on the fact that there exists no
public demand for it; but there cannot be a demand for a product that the public is unaware exists. Hence it is better to propogate the idea that the UFO technology comes from another world, beyond the grasp of mankind.
