If you have benefited from Conversations Book Club, Conversations LIVE! Radio, The Write Stuff or any of the projects headed by Mississippi native Cyrus Webb, you are asked to show your support in what is probably his most ambitious undertaking to date.
Oprah Winfrey is hosting a competition to find the next tv star. The winner will get their own talk show on her network OWN. Cyrus Webb believes this would be a great avenue to give his platform and you the public a worldwide voice in which to be heard.
In order to help Cyrus reach this goal, you are asked to do the following:
VOTE: Go to http://bit.ly/bGH6c7 , watch his audition and vote for him! You can vote several times a day through July 3, 2010.
SHARE: The top 5 videos with the most votes will move on the finals after July 3, 2010. In order for Cyrus to reach this point, he will need you to not only vote each day, but share the information with those you know so they can do the same. The site allows you to tweet the video as well as share on Facebook, too.
JOIN THE TEAM: Beginning June 1, 2010, Cyrus Webb and his organization Shadow Play Entertainment will launch a national campaign to encourage voting participation. This will include Youtube ads and promotional material. Bookmark www.cyruswebb.com for upcoming details.
