• On Tuesday, March 2, 2004 from 10-1p.m., C. A. Webb will be returning to McRaes Metrocenter to promote his newest color postcards, poetry books, color prints as well as his “Tracks of Love” cd. For more information, contact Martha Gibson of McRaes Metrocenter at (601) 968-6322.
• On Thursday, March 11, 2004 and again on Thursday, March 25, 2004 from 10-1p.m., C. A. Webb will be at the Jackson Medical Mall common area with his color postcards, poetry books, color prints, and cds available for purchasing. This event is sponsored by VSA Arts of MS.
The evening of March 11, 2004, Webb will be hosting a special thirty minute edition of his radio talk show “Conversations with C. A. Webb”, interviewing horror writer Brandon Massey of Atlanta, GA. (Seen here) Massey will be in Jackson, MS promoting his second novel DARK CORNER, and out of the various signings he is conducting, C. A. Webb was privileged enough to get the ONLY EXCLUSIVE radio interview with him. This will be heard LIVE only on WMPR 90.1 FM at 7:00p.m., and they will be taking YOUR phone calls! This is a DON’T MISS program.
• On Saturday, March 20, 2004, C. A. Webb will be hosting FIRE AND ICE, his only art show and poetry reading of the month. The event will be held at the Best Western Executive Inn, Downtown Jackson and will be one of the biggest shows of the year for Webb! From 5-7p.m., there will be artwork on display by Webb as well as guest artists Wez Harglo, Katrina McLin, and Charles Smith, followed at 7:30p.m. with poetry, open mike, and entertainment by singer/songwriters Tim Collins and Martha Simpson. Admission for both events is FREE, however, there will be products available for purchasing, as well as a drawing for a FREE WEEKEND in a Jacuzzi suite at the Best Western Executive Inn, Downtown Jackson. Tickets for the drawing are $5.00 and can be purchased in advance.
