Well, well, well...
If you didn't attend the METAMORPHOSIS release party last night at the Best Western Executive Inn then you definitely missed a treat!
Thanks to everyone who attended and showed the other artists and me love. Thanks to visual artist Wez Harglo, New Orleans photographer Don Straun, and singer/songwriter Martha Simpson for making it a night to remember.
I am now preparing the program for my next poetry reading, which will be Saturday, May 29, 2004 at 7:30p.m. The program will be called EMANCIPATION: FREE TO BE. (YOU HAVE TO ATTEND TO UNDERSTAND) Hope to see you there!!
As for this week on "Conversations with C. A. Webb*," the powerful spoken word artist June Hardwick will sit down with me to discuss the importance of National Poetry Month and the effect that poetry has had on her life. You don't want to miss this interview.
That's all for now. More soon...
