Hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend. If anything like ours, it just was not long enough--- or enough hours in the day.
This is just a reminder that this Wednesday is the THIRD Wednesday of the month, so you know what that means... WEBB WEDNESDAY! This will be at the Best Western Executive Inn, Downtown Jackson at 7:30p.m. and will feature guest artist Isiah Henyard, performers Sho', Martha Simpson and Duane Scott. Admission is $5.00, and their will be a drawing for $25.00 cash that night as well as a free night in a king mini-suite given away, both as door prizes.
Also, this is just the right time to tell you about two new partnerships that C. A. Webb and Shadow Play Entertainment has made as 2005 progresses.
Beginning Wednesday, January 26, 2005, C. A. Webb will be hosting a poetry night/book discussion at Olive Garden off County Line Road. This will take place every fourth Wednesday, with more details being released at Webb Wedneday this week.
C. A. Webb has also signed an exclusive arrangement with the City of Brandon to bring art shows and poetry readings to the Brandon Public Library once a month beginning in February 2005, the first one has been scheduled for Friday, February 17, 2005.
C. A. Webb will also be particpating in this year's ART AT WORK fair at Hinds Community College (Pearl Branch) on Thursday, February 17, 2005--- and then the following day will be one of the guest speakers at the MS State Hospital Black History Program.
