The life of Mississippi artist/author/radio and television show host/columist C. A. Webb is nothing if not unpredictable.
Already in 2007 he has been recognized in over a dozen states for his commitment to Literacy and the spoken word, thanks to his nationwide campaign READ MY LIPS (www.readingmylips.com) and inside the state elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and colleges are calling on him to aide in projects that empower their students. Couple all of this with being the Chief of Staff of a thriving public relations firm and the President of his own growing organization, and you have the blueprint of a man on a mission.
Now on Monday, March 12, 2007 C. A. Webb is pleased to announce yet another feather in his cap: the release of his sophomore spoken word cd: MY CONTROVERSY.
Already praised by fans and critics alike, M.C. takes Webb passion for social issues and relationships to another level, thanks to the help from producers in Mississippi, Louisiana and beyond. 27 tracks strong, the project takes you through over a year of meditation, self-awareness and experiences that can only be brought to life by Webb.
The official release date of the project is Friday, April 13th, however,a special album release party will take place on Saturday, April 14th in Pickens, MS, with special guest HBO Def Poetry Jam poet C-Bone Jones.
