Welcome! This newsletter is for the purpose of keeping people updated on what is happening with my writing and book events. Of course I will purge from time to time. As many of you know, I am passionate, unpredictable and intense. Which brings to mind the many years of interviewing prospective employees. For each one that was hired, many others were interviewed. My soft and welcoming nature would blindside them to the intensity that would follow. First the welcoming handshake, ‘have a seat,’ and then the first interview question . . .. How FRAGILE are you? (Most of my hiring was in the tough world of management.) Therefore, my writing is not for everyone. It is unleash art from my soul purged in intensity and not tainted by external pressures. I share my work, but have no illusion that it will impact others. It is refreshing to be at a point in my life where I have little need to please my critics. That is not to say they do not have value, for certainly I am open to listening and I’ll always be a candidate for growing. UPDATES ON BOOK ACTIVITIESI have some exciting news for you!This week L. K. Craft did three radio programs about her novel: ALWAYS ENOUGH which was released in June 2005. Station WSAE 106.9 FM,VIBE 89.2, and WJKM A.M. She was interviewed on the popular show ‘Mornings At Home’ with Carl Fletcher and Marla Sanford.On September 11, 2006, L. K. Craft will be the guest on V.J.’s Corner, WKXY 98.5 FM at 10:00 a.m. It is a pre-taped special program that opens with a discussion about the memories of Sept 11th Worldtrade Disaster. Other discussions include career and life journey. Most of the interview is dedicated to her newly released novel: ALWAYS ENOUGH. It’s exciting reading the reviews that have been written on various websites, including book distributor websites and various venues online. A Kirkus Review coming out in a month and it will be in the next newsletter. At the present time a book signing tour is being arranged for the fall with the first signing to be done in her community at Barnes & Noble in Palm Desert, California on September 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.
