As many of you know, I am a tremendous Chuck Heston fan. Have been since I was a kid. His heroic characters and mannerism are why I write. Anyhow, six weeks ago, I sent Mr. Heston a copy of the newspaper article about me. He personally wrote back saying he'd be delighted to read my work. I of course IMMEDIATELY sent The Shroud to him. Being the class act that Mr. Heston is, and surprising me, he wrote to me AGAIN, thanking me for the book and for autographing it. I have a copy of the letter on Go Jake!
