So I wish you a month full of love and a great Valentine's Day!

I've been offline in January and so did not write much on the blogs but I've been busy with content and some of the new syndicated columns I am providing to animal businesses.

Although I thought the year would start with a bang, my
uncle died on January 1st. He was responsible for starting me on my career path and actually was the one who put me on stage at the tender age of 15!

He is known for helping start the American Cetacean Society and the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium as well as getting the popular public whale watching programs off the ground.

He is a reminder to me to live with passion and an inspiration to what you can do to make a difference in the lives of people everywhere and in the efforts to save the earth and the animals within it.

In spite of the grief associated with such events, I was able to return to my home town and visit with family and friends. It also got me thinking about what type of legacy I'd aspire to leave behind.

Over 1,000 people attended his memorial and many notable
Angelinos (Los Angeles residents) turned up, spoke and
performed at his service.

To live life to the fullest and leave the world as a very well loved person is something I'd like to accomplish as well.

So as you move through this month, take the time to
spread love and to devote time to those efforts you are
passionate about.
