Author has been hard at work writing segments for the yet to be titled ebook manual on the craft of writing to be issued by African American-Authors Helping Authors, (AA-AHA) September 2002. This ebook will consist of essays designed to carry the budding writer through the various stages of the writing craft from the preparation to write, actual writing process, editing, and publishing. This information comes from seasoned, published authors willing to help the novice avoid the pitfalls that are so prevalent in the writing game. This is a “don’t miss” opportunity to learn from the voices of experience. You will be notified when launch date and procedure for dispersal is firm.
Tip: University of Nebraska Press has ended Publication of the self-published version of my memoir to make way for publicity blitz on revised version. I have been asked by a number of readers how they could get a copy of the self-published version. My spies tell me that Barnes & Nobles (on line) has a few copies left. Also Booksamillion (on line) is selling copies through their “Hard to Find Department, “ for $35.00. Suggest interested parties wait for the cloth bound version to be issued by Nebraska Press in spring/summer 2003. If you would like to be added to the growing list of readers requesting early notification of launch date, please email me at mvarnett@hotmail.com.
In Closing: Until the next time we meet, remember the word for today is FAITH
