Isn't it amazing how fast time
flies? Jodi's been working hard on
several projects, be sure to check

Also, I recently tried a Yahoo service that offers automatic reminders

I'd hoped it would be to be for list members, so I have discontinued

A MESSAGE FROM JODI

Hi!

I hope your summer was great! Fall has dropped in on us quickly this
year, and the holidays are close. It was fun seeing BENEATH THE TEXAS
SKY released again after thirteen years from the first time.

My next novel, THE TEXAN'S DREAM, was released on October 30. This is
about Jonathan Catlin, who you may remember from TO KISS A TEXAN, Wes
and Allie's story. He is Allie's brother.

Also, I will have another book out in November 2002, but it is as yet
untitled. I'll be sure to let you know all about it as soon as I can!

TRACE'S CORNER


Well, I`m glad that it is finally showing some signs of cooling off.
This summer was so hot that grasshoppers were poppin`. Of course,
that was a bit entertaining, but terribly messy.

Speaking of messes - - do you remember that assistant, April, that I
mentioned in my last letter? If you think grasshoppers jump high, you
should have seen her jump when I accidentally knocked over her soda
pop. In the year she`s been working for Miss Jodi, I have never seen
her move so fast! I can`t be held responsible for it. Whatever she
leaves on the desk is fair game. Anyway, I was only trying to help.
She wouldn`t know what to do without my supervision. If she would only
get it through her head that the swivel chair is mine.

Miss Jodi has been typing up a storm in that little closet she calls
an office. She has been working on a new project she is really
excited about. But I can`t tell you anymore about that yet. It`s a
surprise.

What I will tell you is that her new book, THE TEXAN`S DREAM, came out
on October 30th. You might know that by now, but I bet you don`t know
that her next novel is already in production, and will be released in
fall of 2002. It is the beginning of a new trilogy. That one doesn`t
have a title yet, but as soon as it does, I`ll be sure to direct April
to let you know.

As always, when Miss Jodi has a new book, she will be traipsing
around, signing it. That probably means back to the dry food. But
Christmas is on the horizon, so maybe she`ll make up for it with a big
box of kitty treats.
