Happy Hello Dear Readers!
I imagine all of you are by now settled into your routines of the New Year. A warming trend appears to be taking place across the country. N. Myrtle Beach, SC is no exception. The previous three years have been on the cool side when we come here two months out of the year. This year, though, the temperatures have been between 50 and 70 most days. No complaint here. We noticed a couple new things in addition to the newly decorated living quarters. As we stroll on the beach a couple times a day, jelly fish who met their fate, wash ashore. Along with that, our activities screen provides extensive directions on what to do if you get stung. It also explains rip current and what to and not to do if you or someone else gets caught in one.
Two projects connected with writing temporarily took me from my manuscript: details related to the popular culture articles and being interviewed by a high school student in California on women in combat. But most time consuming has been a computer monitor crash. Have you ever felt like someone scrambled your brain? Well, that’s what I felt like when I had to transfer all files to James’s computer. Other than that solvable catastrophe, work is progressing here along the beautiful shore of the Atlantic Ocean.
Cheers! R
