A very happy hello dear readers!!!!
Yes, yes, yes!!! The book manuscript Women in Afghanistan in 2008 went in on time, April 1. I am DONE!!! So, life is indeed great.
Now I turn my attention to drafting an index for the Afghan book; consulting on a film; and writing an article. The life of writing continues.
RECOMMENDED READING
A writing colleague, Paige Whaley Eager, has published a book, _From Freedom Fighters to Terrorists: Women and Political Violence_ with Ashgate Publishers. This book is one that I reviewed some time back. As a result, on the back cover the following (written by me) appears:
"Academicians, government officials and policy makers will find From Freedom Fighters to Terrorists an extensive and enlightening analysis. Grounded in theory and framed within history, Eager meets the challenge society continues to grapple with, women's role in violence. Eager demonstrates that within social movements and organizations, women have consciously and frequently challenged successfully their assumed roles in society at large.
