Hold Fast to Dreams
Langston Hughes/ Barbara J. Henry
Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die,
Life is a broken -winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go,
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.

Wonderful poem you have shared.
And I've been thinking about this lately. I have been wanting to venture on with vision, with dreams, but I have not been able to find them, as all of that seemed to fall away when I lost my mother this past summer.
Now it's all coming back to me....
Love,
Christine |
