Thank you friend and partner,
For coming into my world,
And letting me into yours;
For freely being you,
And letting me be me;
For being that one person,
I can trust and fall back to;
For making us whole,
And being our best selves;
For encouraging my best,
And giving your best to me;
All without asking,
Criticizing or nagging
Or even strategizing;
All because of one thing,
Having the right purpose—
Giving each other more,
Than we ever had alone.
