Perspectives Are Powerful

Perspectives are powerful—
Shaping the realities,
We see and act on,
Sometimes with good results,
And sometimes not;
Usually a choice though.
They even create new realities,
Both good and bad,
Again open to opinion;
But in the end my friend,
There’s a good solution—
One thing to see,
Eyes open or shut,
Negative perspectives,
Make things worse;
While positive ones,
Lessen the pain;
Easy to see,
But hard to do;
Still a choice.
