I'd like to thank all my friends here at AD for reading my poetry and stories. Alot has been going on lately. My wife and I have a brand new granddaughter and she has had alot of problems. I ask for your prayers as we get ready to leave for a week to help out. She is doing much better but still not there yet. I hope to return soon and be able to get back to all your beautiful poems. May God bless you every day of your life.

The Prayer
Oh Lord, here I am on bended knee, I pray to you
Lord to restore to me,
The beautiful words that made up my poetry.
Lord I can't write without your help,
I sit down and my mind begins to melt.
Lord Jesus, I do try to write inspirational poems,
To glorify you and the readers at home.
So, Lord, I ask of you, Lord please,
Restore this gift back to me.
Thank you Lord

| Good job Daniel. We have to remember that this gift is a way that the Lord speaks through you, and not a way that you speak for the Lord. Don't be discouraged when you feel that the words aren't coming the way you feel they should, but we always remember that we wait on the Lord, and do his work when and where he wills. You are a beautiful writer, and I always enjoy reading your work. I pray for peace for you always. |
