Loves? My past is littered with them,
yes ~ more than my share,
Mirages of wedding bells
were floating in the air,
But not one could fill my heart
the same way that you do,
Only two things keep me going:
Jesus-Love and you.
When we met my heart was wary,
I'd built up a wall,
When you conquered all my dragons
my heart took the fall,
With a slow and gentle skill
you proved your heart was true ,
Only two things keep me going:
Jesus-Love and you.
When our lives down here have ended
and we're up above,
I will still be covered by
your constant, faithful love,
You're the one God had in mind
down here to see me through,
Only two things keep me going:
Jesus-Love and you...
only two things keep me going,
fill my joy to overflowing,
set my soul and spirit glowing:
Jesus-Love
and you.
