TAX SEASON, HELP!!!!!
Another tax season is upon us,
But there's no need to fear.
If you bring the right stuff
There should be no fuss.
Don't forget your ID
and Social Security card for everyone.
W2 are a must of course,
And don't forget the 1099s
The 1098 and such.
And if your medical bills
That are more than 7.5%
Of your adjusted gross income
That could make a dent
In the taxes that you owe,
Or increase the money the IRS owes you.
Don't forget your mortgage interest, and
The real estate tax you paid.
And state sales tax you can claim.
Did you go to school this year?
If the answer's yes,
Your tuition may be a deduction you could miss.
And for those of you who pay alimony
That has to show up too;
It could be important for the amount of taxes due.
So gather all your papers, my friend
Before to the tax preparer you go.
If you do it will be less stressful
And won't go quite so slow.
I give you this advice
Because From experience I know
I sit on the other side of the desk this time of year
And try to help everyone get as much money back
As the law allows.
