I would like to wish all my Jewish friends and fellow writers a wonderful Passover, and my Christian friend and writers a Happy Easter.

Would Jesus Still Have Come?
Each day when I see the sunrise
And hear the sounds of life,
I don’t know what the day will bring
It may be filled with joy or strife.
As I bow my head over breakfast
And whisper a thankful prayer,
I see the cross in my mind
And remember how much God did care.
His love for me is so perfect
That even though I have sinned
He sent his Son to die on a cross for me
My failures his blood to rescind.
As I pass through my day doing each of my chores
One thing to me is perfectly clear.
If I were the only sinner,
He would have still sent his Son so dear
Because just like a faithful Shepard
Who searches the night for his one lost sheep,
My heavenly Father would make any sacrifice needed
Because his love for me runs that deep.

Yes, very precious words were carefully woven within your poem.
Yes, the words in your poetry are "Gold Nuggets" straight from Jesus.
Yes, He cares for ME because he is concerned for His one lost sheep!
Yes, You and I are SPECIAL in the eyes of THE LORD!
Yes, we are all related because we are His sheep and He cares for us.
AMEN! |

His love is beyond words we understand
One day we'll sit at His feet
And hear Him teach
See Him reach.
A very encouraging poem.

Every shepherd will go after the lamb that wanders away from the herd, so, the answer is YES! He still had come.

Bobbi,
Beautiful poetry, Bobbi! My Pastor said the same thing in his sermon last week. He said if he was the only one on earth Jesus would have still died for him. How remarkable that is! Enjoyed this VERY much!
Blessings and love,
~Linda |

An important question that deserves an honest answer. IMO, YES. Undoubtedly. For even one - for you. For me. Especially for me. Well penned!
