Why is it that I can
never feel anything
negative towards you,
despite when you disappoint me
leaving me lonely
crying for your affections?

I know I have to forget you,
let you go,
move on with my life.
I can run away
moving as far as I can
not looking back
blocking my feeling for you
from my mind and soul.

Then I sit,
reminiscing of the first time
we met so many years ago.
Your small olive eyes
locking with mine
your scent
touch
passionate kiss.

You’re the man, heart and soul
of my being.
I can never run away.
Our souls will always be connected.

Boy and WOW can i relate to pain of love and how hard it is to let go. As women we never forget the first glance which is the irst day that we start to all in love. Eventually as time goes on we start to realize that we are not loved in the same way and then it is easier to go on.

Such feelings take such a strong hold against our own will. That struggle and realization was most keenly sensed.
