Wow! I visited the Golden Gate back in 1980...awesome sight. Poor souls that decide there's nothing worth living for in this world. What a horrible end! Very well penned my friend.

Sausalito native here, before and after the bridge was build, pride of Californians and sometimes disgraced by poor souls that didn't knew better how to cope with the real life issues. Suicide ain't no solution.

| I used to live right near there. Bay and Laguna. People would say to me: "This is SF. If you can't have fun here, there's the God-damned bridge!" Made sure to have fun, even if I was pretending. |
