I learned early on that life is not always fair, and the best way to deal with life is to keep a positive attitude and to not shy away from any challenge. This way of thinking helped me develop a fire within that is hard to extinquish.
|
Deep inside me there is a longing
an urgent need to bring
to the surface my desire
to succeed, my entire
being shiver
with anticipation, If I were
to ignore these feelings
It would be hard to face life, things
are not always what they appear
no matter the challenge, I confess to stare
life square in the face
for the fire within, will not allow me to embrace
any failures
that fire within, lures
me into thinking positively
so in the end ,I am indeed very satisfied and happy!
that fire within
will stay with me through thick and thin!

There is an adage that says something like this:
"Some people make things happen. Other people watch things happen. And other people stand around and say,'What happened?'"
My dear Nicole, you are a person that makes things happen and improves the world. Oh, where would we all be without you?
I love "The Fire Within." Very motivating. Great job!
