My sister just left to return home to Ft Lauderdale, I wrote this poem to help deal with my feelings. I hated saying goodbye to her. She is my half sister from my father's side. I just met her for the first time in February when I went to visit her. She came to Denver to visit me. I am happy that she came to visit, but also sad she had to leave.

DESPAIR
You follow me everywhere
though I try to escape your grip
you are my worst nightmare.......
DESPAIR
You strip .......
me of my joy and dignity
won't you please let go!
I don't need your nagging pity
DESPAIR
If you must know.......
I abhor.......
everything about you
I will not allow your roar.......
to captivate me any longer or make me blue
DESPAIR
I am in complete control, you are now a distant memory!

PRAISE GOD!...TOO BLESSED...TO BE STRESSED! I LOVED THIS WORK NICOLE AND YOU ARE WISE TO IMMEDIATELY REBUKE THAT SPIRIT OF 'DESPAIR'...FOR GOD IS IN ALL THINGS AND EVERYWHERE...NO NEED TO FRET AT ALL. THANKS FOR SHARING AND GOD BLESS YOU.

Despair--relentless, unforgiving and hopeless emotional pain.
You've captured in well, Nicole.
You went to see her and she came to see you. And have you now sworn off visiting for the rest of your lives? Of course not, my dear friend. This is just the beginning of a lifelong harmony of souls.
Back, Despair, back. It's time to rejoice! And I'm happy for you.
Richard
